TECHNICAL REGULATIONS:All regulations mentioned below is valid for EXPERT Category & NOVICE Category unless/otherwise stated:
1 - ChassisAny brand of chassis may be used.
The chassis being used must be a 1/10th scale chassis and must be electrically powered (no Nitro Powered vehicles allowed).
There is no weight limit and there is no ride height limit.
Wheel nuts must not protrude more than beyond the wheel to ensure safety to other participants’ bodies and equipment.
No sharp objects or any other object designed to damage other peoples property may be placed onto the car for safety purposes.
Only one [1] chassis allowed. No chassis changing during competition. Participants entering BOTH categories are allowed to use 2 types of chassis but are not allowed to interchange them between categories.
2 - Electronics and RadioCompetitors are advisable to carry more than 2 crystals at all times.
No person shall turn on their radios without checking with all other competitors that their frequency is free to use. Failure to do so may result in major car damage or spectator/competitor injury or DISQUALIFICATION.
Forward only and Forward/Reverse electronic speed controllers can be used by organizer’s discretion. The use of capacitors is allowed.
3 - BatteriesNiMh or NiCd cell packs must consist of 6 cells only. No more or no less.
Any brand of cells may be used to power the car.
Any capacity cells are allowed to be used.
Li-Po batteries are also allowed.
4 - TiresAll EXPERT competitors must only use controlled tire: Yokomo ZERO-TWO 'R' Super Drift Tire, Part number ‘ZR-DR02’ Single Wide Drift Ring Version.
All NOVICE competitors must only use tires with factory branding printed/labeled/embossed on the tires (Will be checked and monitored throughout the competition). Example as per below:

5 - MotorsEXPERT: No limitation for motor turns either brushed or brushless (For further declarations please enquire the organizer).
NOVICE: Brushed 19-turns or above motors are allowed (e.g. 19T, 23T, 27T, 35T) and brushless 10.5-turns and above motors may also be used (For further declarations please enquire the organizer).
6 - Body shellsAll cars entered must be realistic when initially entering the competition.
The body shell must be fastened securely to the chassis at all times when being used.
Also body shells must be painted if they wish to be used.
There may be electrical lighting attached to body shells to increase aesthetic qualities.
You will be required to place a race number decal on your car’s windscreen, representing your current seeding number. These stickers will be supplied by the officials at each event. You will be required to collect these at registration.
Only one [1] body shell allowed. No changing of body shell during competition. Participants entering BOTH categories are allowed to use one [1] same body shell for BOTH categories or two [2] different body shell for each category.
Each round of competition (3 rounds overall) requires different body shell usage to be eligible for the Concourse de' Elegance (Body Shell Competition).
7 - EntryParticipants MAY choose to enter EXPERT or NOVICE Category and also BOTH Category.
Top 10 Overall Standings from Pro Series during D1-10RC Championship last season are not entitled to participate for NOVICE Category.
Competitors must register at least 3-days in advance before the event.
Entries will be accepted at the organizers’ discretion. Organizer and judges have the right to disqualify any competitors at any time.

Practise - 11:00am-7:00pm
*Competition track layout will only be done by this day.
*Still need to pay for track fee at Planet Speedway as this is not an official event day.
Sunday (14 December 2008)
9.00am - Arrival of drifters and preparation.
10.00am - Drifters briefing for practise run.
10.15am - Practise start.
10.45am - Practise end.
10.50am - Photo session & Concourse de' Elegance.
11.00am - Drifters briefing for qualifying run.
11.15pm - Novice & Expert qualifying commence. (lunch in between runs)
2.45pm - Announcement of Best 16 or Best 32 for Novice & Expert.
3.00pm - Drifters briefing for Tsuiso battle.
3.15pm - Novice & Expert Tsuiso.
6.30pm - Prize giving & Lucky draw.
